Overview
Each Rock Recovery House will provide housing and therapy for up to eight women or men. Houses will operate in the evening, overnight, and morning hours 5 days per week, and full-time on weekends. Each house will be staffed by a nutritionist, a fitness instructor, multiple therapists, and lifestyle coaches. Where possible, staff will be individuals with long-term, solid recovery from eating and/or exercise disorders, and will have extensive experience working with food and/or exercise disorders. Each house will also have a “resident coach” who will live in the house and will be responsible for night-time and morning house operations.
Recovery House Activities
Rock Recovery Houses will provide access to daily recovery activities, including but not limited to:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
- Psychosomatic therapy
- Art therapy
- Nutritional couseling
- Body image work
- Guided prayer and meditation
- Mind-body therapy (e.g., NIA, Yoga)
- Community support groups (e.g., 12-Step, ANAD meetings)

Oversight
Rock Recovery, Inc. has established policies and procedures surrounding the operation of all our recovery houses. Each house will employ professional staff who report to a House Director. The House Director will report to our Executive Direcor, who in turn reports to the President of the Board of Directors as well as to members of the Board serving on our "Residence Taskforce." Rock Recovery operates in accordance with a Code of Conduct & Ethics, and Recovery Houses will operate in accordance with set House Operating Procedures. Through these measures, Rock Recovery will provide a safe environment in which residents can face their addictions/disorders. |
